Join me on facebook - my group is Prepping Foods!

note: compiled using several blogs/etc.. esp http://www.ldsliving.com/story/64382-gluten-free-food-storage

If you need GLUTEN FREE Long Term Storage
White Rice
Millet
Gluten Free Oats
Cornmeal
Rice Flour
Garbanzo
Popcorn
Dried Peas
Tapioca
Quinoa
Amaranth
Black Beans
Pinto Beans
Lima Beans
Lentils
Rice Flour
Coconut Flour
Buckwheat Flour
Almond Flour
Gluten Free Oatmeal
Dehydrated Potatoes: Flakes, Cubes, Slices, Shredded
Xanthan/guar gum: used in almost every GF “bread” recipe, including items such as waffles or cakes, to bind together the GF flours. Lawson suggest xanthan gum because it doesn’t have the strong flavors that some others do.
Starches: necessary to combat the heavy, dry texture most GF grains produce. Corn, potato, and tapioca starch are all helpful to have on hand. You can buy them and then put them in large pails for storage.
Vinegar: the more economical version of store-bought GF dough enhancers.
In addition: Most meats, fruits, nuts, vegetables, etc should be gluten free, although check as they could have been produced in a factory containing such.
Baking Powder/Soda/GF Yeast/Etc
Whole Egg Powder
Egg White Powder (many gf recipes call for it)
Scrambled Egg Powder
Chicken/Turkey/Seafood/Beef/Pork/Game
(Canned/Home Canning, Freeze Dried, Cold Storage, Pouches)
2x Grinders (if doing both wheat and GF)
AND AS MANY GLUTEN FREE COOKBOOKS AS POSSIBLE!!!
There are Gluten Free Long Term Food Storage cookbooks,

but look for all GF.
